But, since I now have a bit of money to spend, I'm buying a rename token and changing it :D<br /><br />So, here's your heads up, in case anyone's really confused when this new name pops up on their flist. <span style="font-size: medium; "><strong>As of now, <em>moonyinspades</em> will be <em>callmebombshell</em>.</strong> </span>This post will stay public, right along with my FO post, just so anyone who tracks me down through the old username won't be super confused.<br /><br /><br />And an explanation, because I know you're all so super curious: <a name="cutid1"></a><br /><br />A while back, when I realised I was completely, totally, and utterly consumed by BSG, I tried getting a few of my friends to watch it with me. In talking about the show, the question inevitably came up: what would your callsign be? And for whatever reason, Bombshell just stuck in my head. In thinking about it, it makes a certain sort of sense. The shell is what's left over when the bomb goes off, the part that makes it work, carries the real weaponry, and its' the part that's left in the end, a little broken and a little battered, but a reminder of the sheer power that it was created to hold. And that's a bit like what I am for my friends. They're the dynamic, belligerent part, easily sparked into life, and I'm the one who comes behind, there from the beginning, and helps them along the way until they finally do their job and explode and I get to sit back and watch the fireworks and be so proud of what they've done. http://callmebombshell.livejournal.com/86641.html !name-change amused public

I just don’t know how to describe myself to other people. You could say I’m something like a diamond: I’ve got more facets than you could count one for each person I know, and while no one ever sees the whole of me, all the pieces together make up who I am. To be more simple about it, here’s some basic stuff for you:<br /><br /><a name="cutid1"></a>Name’s Moony, I’m seventeen, biologically speaking, and mentally somewhere between fourteen and forty. An ex-high school student, I’m currently looking at colleges and trying to figure out what to do with myself. I'm an internet addict and LJ fanatic and spent much of my time in front of my computer. I'm often random and tend to go off on tangents and ramble on about all sorts of odd things. I am quite fluent in sarcasm and cannot abide useless people. I’ve opinions about everything, just about, and will generally state them. I use British spelling despite being American and like slipping in references to various things (TV shows, books, random inside jokes) in everyday speech. Swear words are a fairly large chunk of my daily vocabulary (you have been warned). <br /><br />I’m interested in a great many things on a great many levels: philosophy, astronomy, history, music, psychology, literature. I could go on and on about the things I find to be of interest; that’s a list that seems to have no end. I am a thinker by nature; pondering the great mysteries of the world is something I do quite often.
